Portfolio - Concept

What did I want to do and why

I wanted to make a website portfolio so I can (re)learn coding again to its proficientcy.
I have a bad feeling that I wouldnt able to code much in the group project since there is a guy named Andrew that is very eager to code, which give me less of a oppertunity to code overall.
CMD:

What did I do and what was the result

First I wanted to make an wireframe for the wwebsite.
I created the wireframes in figma.
While I already have a color palatte in mind, I want to user test that later.

Imgages down below. You need to open img in the new tab (for now)

Prototype link: Prototype Figma

How did we validate it/feedback

I asked multiple teachers which type of interface would be the best fit and easiest to grade for each wireframe.

Teacher 1:
Based on this feedback, option eith the horizontal navigation was chosen because it was easier to read.
For the last design, he suggested to add the nav-pill-tab as an option and after I made that.
He chose the nav-pill-tab version.

Teacher 2:
She chose the same options as teacher one.
Note:
The amount of nav-tabs were too much
Example:
Everything had a simple tab.

Teacher 3:
He chose the very first option. (navigation on the left)
Note:
If you ever want to do A/B testing, be better with your wording.
Also have a working product helps with choosing which wireframe is good.

In the end the most teachers told me that the combinations with the left side of the nav WITH the nav-tab-pill are the best

What is next

The planning is to just code the website and Itterate during the process of coding the rest of the design.
This portfolio is one giant Itteration and a final product as well.

I needed to add and extra option to my wireframe questions AFTER I got some feedback after a feedback/validation

LO4: Professional Standard
Using different professional programs, outside of Adobe and using CMD
